1.Poor oil removal during pre-treatment, with a large amount of organic grease in the plating tank, which forms saponification with surfactants. The viscosity of the floating oil in acidic galvanizing solution is high, and it is easy to stick to the groove walls, hangers, rollers, anode plates, and plated parts, making it difficult to completely remove. Acidic galvanizing solution is weakly acidic and does not have the ability to remove oil.
2. There are many iron ions in the zinc plating solution, and the plating solution is generally turbid. The conductive salt potassium chloride has a significant impact on the cloud point of the plating solution. When there are many iron impurities in the plating solution, the cloud point of the acidic zinc plating additive will decrease significantly.
3. The pH value of the zinc plating solution is ≥ 6.0. During the production process, it is necessary to control the pH value of the acid zinc plating solution between 5.6-6.0.
4. There is a problem with the ratio of acidic zinc plating brightener. With the continuous accumulation of a certain type of carrier additive in an acidic zinc plating additive, it reacts with suspended solids in the acid zinc plating solution and trivalent iron ions brought into the plated part to form acidic and viscous oil stains, which will seriously affect the quality of the coating.
After identifying the cause of the floating oil on the acidic galvanized liquid surface, it becomes easy to solve the problem.
