① Excessive zinc ion concentration accompanied by low sodium hydroxide concentration

As we mentioned in the previous article, the stability of the zincate ion complex is one order of magnitude lower than that of the zinc cyanide complex. This can be said to be inherently insufficient. If, in addition, the concentration of zinc ions is high while the concentration of sodium hydroxide is insufficient, the coordination strength of zincate will be even weaker, the cathode polarization effect will be lower, the discharge will become easier, and the galvanized layer will naturally become rough and dark.
