Poor pre-treatment before plating
The oil stains on the surface of the workpiece are not cleaned thoroughly. After acid immersion, the difficulty of water washing increases, and the surface of the substrate forms mottled or striped patterns. The coating on this surface is difficult to deposit or the deposited coating is thin, resulting in a black striped coating.
If the rust on the surface of the workpiece is not thoroughly treated, the coating can only deposit around the rust, resulting in black spots. Or during the electroplating process, the rust gradually dissolves in the early stage, and the coating deposits later. The coating deposition time in this area is short, the coating is thin, and the luster is poor, resulting in white spots.
