What are the problems with some non-cyanide alkaline copper brighteners available on the market?

According to the feedback from some electroplating plant customers, when using the cyanide-free alkaline copper brightener, the coating will exhibit rough crystallization and a semi-glossy appearance overall. Complex parts are prone to roughness in the low areas, and the subsequent nickel rolling process shows significant color differences. This is because some manufacturers, when developing the cyanide-free alkaline copper brightener, did not select the correct components such as complexing agents and brighteners, so the resulting brightener cannot meet the requirements of electroplating enterprises for deep plating capabilities.

So, what should we do? We can switch to Bigely cyanide-free copper brightener Cu-231. It is a new product developed by our engineers. Through continuous experiments and screening, several additive components were selected to compound Cu-231. The coating obtained with Cu-231 is shiny, uniform and flat, with a dense microstructure.
