The plating solution contains solid particles
The solid particles such as iron hydroxide that are in a suspended state in the acid copper plating solution, through diffusion and convection effects, reach the cathode surface and co-deposit with the plating layer. This can also cause product failure. In mild cases, it reduces the brightness and smoothness of the plating layer; in severe cases, the product becomes non-compliant.
Therefore, during the application of the acid copper brightener, if the coating has spots due to the presence of solid particles in the plating solution, the electroplating factory needs to check the filtration speed and control the frequency of plating solution circulation to 3 times per hour. If the coating spots are very large, then the filter machine and anode bags should be inspected, and the plating solution should be extracted by suction.
