During the application of the tin plating brightener, to enhance the weldability of the galvanized layer, the following measures can be taken:
1. Regularly analyze the plating solution and adjust the main salt concentration in a timely manner based on the analysis results.
2. Regularly use large-area cathode plates before production or during shutdown periods, and apply a small current to the electrolytic bath to remove metal impurity ions from the bath.
3. Regularly treat the plating solution with activated carbon and filter it. However, it will adsorb some of the brighteners. Therefore, after the treatment, appropriate amounts of tin plating brighteners should be replenished.
4. High-purity tin plates (with a purity of over 99.5%) should be selected as the anode to prevent the anode from becoming oxidized. The surface of the anode plate should be cleaned regularly, and protective bags should be used when necessary.
5. When inserting the workpiece into the tank, an impact current should be used, especially for those with complex shapes, in order to prevent strong acid from corroding and contaminating the plating solution.
