Advantages of anodic degreasing:
① Oxygen is generated on the anode, so there is no problem of hydrogen seepage from the substrate.
②Cationic impurities in the degreasing solution are not deposited on the anode. Due to anode dissolution, the black ash of carbonized iron remaining on the surface of pickled steel parts can also be removed cleanly.
Disadvantages of anodic degreasing:
The speed of oil removal is slower than that of cathode oil removal. One of the reasons is that the volume of oxygen produced on the anode for the cathode hydrogen half, through the same amount of electricity produced on the cathode less gas, its stirring effect and the oil film tearing and crushing effect is also weaker; furthermore, the anode on the precipitation of oxygen consumption of OH-, the workpiece interface liquid layer of the pH decreased, is not conducive to the saponification reaction; There is another point, that is, the oxygen bubbles compared to the volume of hydrogen bubbles, the ability to stay on the surface of the workpiece Small, the role of the oil droplets brought out when floating is also weak.
②The substrate may have anodic corrosion and oxidation problems. After anodic degreasing of iron and steel parts, under normal circumstances, due to the generation of oxide film in a passivated state, will not corrode; but for tin, lead, copper and copper alloys and other metals that are not easy to passivate the corrosion due to anodic dissolution (copper anodic degreasing of copper parts, the surface is oxidized to generate black copper oxide).
