What is ultrasonic degreasing?
Sound is a wave. Human hearing can perceive frequencies ranging from a few tens of hertz to about 16 kHz. Lower frequencies are infrasound (which elephants can emit and receive), while frequencies above 16 kHz are ultrasound (bats have no eyesight and rely on emitting and receiving ultrasound to fly and hunt). When using alloy chemical degreasing powder to prepare degreasing solution, the method of degreasing by applying ultrasonic waves to the degreasing solution with an ultrasonic generator and transducer is called ultrasonic degreasing.
Role of ultrasonic degreasing
Chemical degreasing under static conditions lacks agitation (even worse at low temperatures), so the speed and thoroughness of degreasing are not good. The cavitation effect of ultrasonic waves greatly improves the speed and effectiveness of degreasing.
