In the process of using decorative chrome plating additives, as the plating solution is mainly based on hexavalent chromium, which is very harmful to human body, and the emission of wastewater waste gas will also have a great impact. 1, Reduce the concentration of hexavalent chromium in the plating solution. The concentration of chromic anhydride in many chromium plating process will be controlled at about 250g/L, under the condition of not affecting the chromium plating layer, the concentration can be reduced to 180~200g/L, which can reduce the bring out of chromic anhydride in the plating solution, reduce the burden of water washing treatment, and reduce the chromium concentration in the discharged wastewater exhaust gas.

2, Reduce the temperature of the plating solution. The temperature of the chromium plating process can be reduced from the original 45 ~ 50 ℃ to 35 ~ 45 ℃, reducing the evaporation of chromic acid, but also able to reduce the content of chromium mist in the exhaust air, reducing the chromium pollution of the air.

3, Choose the right catalyst. The use of traditional chromium plating additives current efficiency is low, increase the current will exacerbate the hydrogen precipitation reaction, increase the volatilization of chromium mist. The use of composite chromium plating, rare-earth chromium plating additives, such as Bigely Cr-8 additives, current efficiency, can be used to lower current, reducing the emission of chromium mist.

4, Reduce the carrying amount of workpiece. When the workpiece is out of the plating tank, it can stay for 8~10 seconds, so that the plating solution carried on the workpiece drips back to the chrome plating tank, which reduces the amount of carrying out of the plating solution, and lowers the burden of the cleaning water, thus reducing the pollution of water.

5, The use of recycling and countercurrent water washing process. Chromium plating process of the water washing process generally have 5 to water washing, the farther away from the plating tank in the washing tank the lower the concentration of chromic acid. As the plating process requires frequent replenishment, the back of the cleaning water to the front of the higher concentration of chromic acid tank replenishment, you can achieve the purpose of replenishment, but also can recover a large number of chromic acid, can effectively reduce the pollution of chromic acid in the wastewater.
