Even for the low ripple DC output power supply, the DC output waveform may be deteriorated or even mutilated due to the lack of phase in the power supply, or damage to the internal components of the rectifier, at which time the chrome-plating effect will be deteriorated.
Therefore, when there is a sudden deterioration of the effect of chrome plating, plating plant technicians need to first check the rectifier DC output ripple is normal, and not first of all the components of the plating solution (such as chrome plating additives and the main salt) to do a blind adjustment, or not necessarily be able to quickly troubleshooting to solve the problem (it is recommended that the usual use of oscilloscopes to determine the DC waveform).
